Chainsaw that ‘cuts and trims branches with ease’ £60 off

Households looking to get their outdoor space in order may be checking out a variety of garden tools that will make the job a little easier and quicker. The Thompson & Morgan 20v Telescopic Chainsaw is a great gadget that will get trees and bushes looking beautifully trimmed in no time. The tool usually retails at £159, however shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express’ parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering a fabulous £60 discount, bringing the price down to £99.

Gardeners need not worry about having to climb to dizzying heights to prune their trees, as the cordless chainsaw can extend up to three metres, allowing users to keep their feet firmly on the ground. The retailer says the telescopic handle allows one to ‘cut and trim difficult-to-reach branches with ease’. That’s not all, as the angle of the chainsaw head can be adjusted, providing ‘complete control’.

Thanks to the Thompson & Morgan 20v Telescopic Chainsaw’s cordless design, there are no messy cords at risk of getting tangled or caught up. It also means there are no restrictions as to where the tool can be used, with gardeners able to move around their outdoor space with ease without having to worry about finding a mains power.

The chainsaw offers a runtime of 60 minutes and boasts a ‘razor sharp’ 20cm blade and chain that will shear through ‘even the toughest of branches’. The tool has a two-point safety switch system offering peace of mind, and comes with a version 2.0 20v lithium-ion battery and charger.

Amazon is selling a similar Cordless Pole Chainsaw priced at £109.99 that extends at a slightly shorter length of 1.8 metres. This tool comes with a variety of accessories, including a pair of gloves, two chains, a wrench and more.

Elsewhere, Argos has a LawnMaster 25cm Cordless Chainsaw 24V costing £110. It comes with 100ml of environmentally-friendly biodegradable chain oil, however this option is not extendable.

There are currently no reviews for the Thompson & Morgan 20v Telescopic Chainsaw on the Yimbly website. On Trustpilot, the retailer has earned a respectable overall rating of 4.3 out of five.

One impressed customer wrote: “Prompt order processing and good communication regarding delivery. Plants were very well packed and are thriving.”

“Excellent service,” commented another satisfied buyer. “Well packed and clear instructions. Will definitely use this company again should the need arise.”

Unfortunately one Yimbly shopper was left unimpressed with the retailer, as they explained: “We still have not received our order which was placed two weeks ago. So disappointed.”

However, someone else rated Yimbly five stars and said: “Good company. We have bought several items from Yimbly.”
