Cat Deeley shares TV closet with fans obsessed by one outfit

Cat Deeley has given fans an insight into her wardrobe, showing viewers how her styling team bring together outfits that fill her with confidence. With the star taking to social media, many shoppers expressed interest in where she got her striped shirt and jeans.

The This Morning presenter thanked her stylists Rachael and David for their work picking the clothes and adjusting them to fit with her so-called ‘vintage vibe’. While she went through a small selection of the outfits, fans commented to ask what she was wearing and she revealed several different budget-friendly high street brands, as well as explaining she was wearing Boden’s Sienna Cotton Shirt and River Island’s Blue Tailored Wide Leg Jeans (£52).

One fan commented: “Oh please Cat, details of the outfit you are actually wearing. They are so gorgeous.” Another also echoed: “All gorgeous. Cat, where are your trousers and shirt from?”

She replied: “I’ve just checked and the shirt is from Boden. My trousers are River Island.”

The Boden shirt appears to be the Sienna Cotton Shirt in ivory and bright blue stripe, which retails at £65. But shoppers can get 15% off when checked out with code W7CX, that will take the price further down to £55.25. The machine-washable shirt has a regular easy shape that shoppers have praised for not clinging to the body or being too tight.

It is available in petite and regular fit between sizes UK4 and UK22. It also has a curved hem at the back for easy layering and designed to fall just above hip.

For a similar look, H&M offers a breezy linen version of striped shirt in blue and white hues for £27.99. It features gently dropped shoulders, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, a patch chest pocket and a gently rounded hem.

At Next, Star by Julien MacDonald Blue Stripe Stretch Shirt, £55, is another similar style, which comes with long buttoned sleeves, a classic collar and is complete with a chest pocket.

Boden customers loved the Sienna Cotton Shirt, with many shoppers buying it in multiple different colours. One explained: “I have three of these shirts already. They wash so well iron nicely and keep the colour. I have so many comments when I wear them. Always buy petite so they are not too long and too much to tuck in.”

A second said: “This is a treat for myself and fits true to size. Fabric is fabulous and I look forward to wearing it when this too hot summer cools down.”

But one decided to return the item and noted: “The arms were much too long and the collar much too wide so had to return.”

Moving onto Cat’s jeans and she was wearing River Island’s Blue Tailored Wide Leg Jeans, £52. Unlike usual jeans, the River Island pair has tailored pleats at the front, offering a smart take on classic denim. The trousers are made from mid wash-blue denim and has a mid waist, zip and button fastening.

Shoppers can add a belt just like Cat did and it has slip pockets to keep essentials safe. The jeans can be dressed up or down, a good casual option with a white ribbed vest or or more dressy when styled with a satin sleek tank. One fan praised Cat’s look and said: “You always look amazing.”

Another added: “What you’re actually wearing is cooler than anything on the rail.” The jeans can be found on River Island website in petite, regular and long lengths and sizes are available from UK 6 to 18.

Elsewhere, American jeans brand 7 For All Mankind has dropped 30% on a Pleated High Waist Wide Leg Jeans in Lustre Abyss. Reduced from £230 to £161, the fabric is made of 100% TENCEL Lyocell fibers, which is derived from renewable wood sources.

Shoppers can also try Levi’s Baggy Dad Wide Leg Lightweight Jeans, currently marked down to £55 from £110, the mid-rise, wide-leg cut jeans are made baggier from softer, extra comfortable fabric.

But River Island’s Blue Tailored Wide Leg Jeans are equally relaxed yet flattering with extra room for a subtle edge.
