Canelo Alvarez is set to defend his four super-middleweight world titles tonight as he welcomes Terence Crawford to the division. Both fighters have long been considered among the best pound-for-pound in the world, but a meeting in the ring was never anticipated. However, Crawford has moved up two weight divisions in his bid to become the first man in boxing history to reign as a three-weight undisputed world champion.

Despite being the underdog, Crawford will face Mexican Alvarez on Mexico’s Independence Day weekend. Throughout the week, Crawford has expressed confidence in overcoming the odds on the Las Vegas Strip.

Here’s everything you need to know about the fight, including the UK start time….

For sure it means a lot…this win is going to be in the very top.”
