A Cadbury product loved by the UK households has hit the virtual shelves of a budget supermarket ahead of the festive season. Poundland recently offered Cadbury’s festive selection boxes at an eye-catching discount, pricing them at just 25p—£2.50 less than the same box sold at Iceland.

Each 125g box featured a delightful mix of popular Cadbury treats, including Dairy Milk Freddo Caramel, Fudge, Crunchie, Dairy Milk Little Bar, Treatsize Buttons, and Wispa. Unsurprisingly, the deal sparked a rush, and the boxes quickly sold out online, with Poundland’s website now operating in a “browsing only” mode. The identical selection remains available at Iceland for the full £2.50 price, highlighting the buzz around Poundland’s limited-time bargain.

Poundland has jumped into the festive spirit early, unveiling its Christmas Food and Drink range well ahead of the season.

The collection features a cheerful mix of holiday essentials, including chocolates, sweets, biscuits, stockings, decorations, and even festive jumpers.

Among the highlights are limited-time chocolate selection boxes from beloved brands like Cadbury, KitKat, and Haribo, offering shoppers a chance to stock up on seasonal favourites at budget-friendly prices.

However, to snag these deals, customers will need to head to their local Poundland store, as the website currently serves only as a browsing platform.

Still, shoppers can explore full product details online before making their visit.

A statement on the Poundland website reads: “From the 16th September, our website will be for browsing only and Poundland Perks will be closing.”

The statement continues: “While we know most of our online shoppers also visit us regularly in stores (thank you!), we know this will be disappointing to all who’ve been using our online ordering service.”

The company emphasises that it is working hard to “simplify and refocus” its stores and plans to release even more ranges at £1 and new items to shop each week. “Unfortunately, we will no longer by providing an online delivery service from the 16th September 2025.”
