Bus carrying 60 British schoolchildren on ski trip smashes into lorry in Germany


A bus carrying a number of schoolchildren from a Welsh school on a ski had a lucky escape, after a lorry which veered into oncoming traffic crashed into their vehicle.

Around 60 pupils from Ysgol Llanhari, in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales were heading to a ski resort in Austria when the lorry crashed into them in Germany.

No children, between the ages of 14 and 17, were injured in the incident, according to an Instagram story posted by the school, Daily Mail reports.

The pupils are no awaiting new transport to continue their ski holiday.
