A British tourist is fighting for his life after he was crushed by a glass balcony that fell from a building in a Greek holiday hotspot.
The unnamed 49-year-old was walking down a street with his wife on the popular island if Crete when a section of a balcony was dislodged by strong winds, according to local reports. He suffered serious injuries in the freak accident in Hersonissos, on the island’s northern coast.
