Brian Daboll does have options.
As interest in the former Giants coach’s services continues to grow, The Athletic reported Wednesday that Daboll could end up on new Titans coach Robert Saleh’s staff if a certain Bills domino does not fall his way.
Daboll, who interviewed for Tennessee’s coaching vacancy before news broke this week that Saleh is expected to land the job, is expected to speak with the Bills after they fired longtime coach Sean McDermott on Monday.

He worked under McDermott for four seasons as the Bills’ offensive coordinator before landing the top job with the Giants in 2022.
Daboll was fired by the Giants in November midway through his fourth season.
In addition to head coaching opportunities, Daboll emerged as a buzzy offensive coordinator candidate this cycle, even speaking with the Giants’ loathed rival Eagles about their opening.
The Birds parted ways with the much-maligned Kevin Patullo following their wild-card playoff loss to the 49ers this month.
The first-year play caller was under intense scrutiny for much of the season, notably for the decision-making on what would be the Eagles’ final drive of the year.

The Athletic noted in Wednesday’s report how the Eagles “are conducting their offensive coordinator search with the understanding that Brian Daboll wants the Bills’ head coaching job.”
A pivot to Tennessee as the offensive coordinator would be the anticipated move if Daboll does not land the job in Buffalo.
Saleh and Daboll coached in New York concurrently, with the former 49ers defensive coordinator landing the Jets job in 2021.
He was fired just five games into the 2024 season.
The Titans — one of 10 teams that partook in the coaching carousel this offseason — are home to last year’s No.1 overall pick, Cam Ward.
In 17 games for the Titans this season, the rookie quarterback threw for 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 59.8 percent of his passes.
The Titans went 3-14 and hold the fourth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
