A house that once symbolized TV’s most wholesome blended family is now officially part of Los Angeles history.
The Los Angeles City Council voted Wednesday to move forward with granting Historic-Cultural Monument status to the famed Brady Bunch house in North Hollywood, cementing its place as one of the city’s most recognizable pieces of pop culture.
The mid-century home at 11222 West Dilling Street, instantly recognizable from the opening credits of the hit ABC sitcom, will be added to the city’s official list of Historic-Cultural Monuments following recommendations from the Cultural Heritage Commission and the Planning and Land Use Management Committee.
