Defensive end Bradley Chubb is trading in his swim trunks for a winter coat.
Chubb, 29, agreed to a three-year, $43.5 million contract that could be worth as much as $52.5 million, according to multiple reports.
As part of the deal, Chubb is guaranteed $29 million, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
The Dolphins released Chubb on Wednesday, which allowed the Bills to pounce on the two-time Pro Bowler to help them on the defensive side of the ball.

Chubb played every single game last season for the Dolphins and had 8.5 sacks.
He also recorded 47 tackles and was credited with 20 quarterback hits, two forced fumbles and eight tackles for loss.
The Bills were quick to address their need at pass rusher once the new league calendar began at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
It had been a weak spot for Buffalo in the past, which it has tried to address via the free agent route.

Gregory Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa and Boogie Basham were brought in through the draft in order to aid the pass rush, but it has not worked out the way the organization has hoped.

Chubb has 48 sacks and 303 tackles in his seven years in the NFL, which also included playing parts of five seasons with the Broncos after he was taken as the fifth overall draft pick in 2018.
He spent the past four seasons in South Florida, although he missed all of the 2024 season while recovering from a torn ACL.
In his time with the Dolphins, Chubb played in 41 games and started 40 while earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2022 and appearing in one playoff game.
Chubb served as a team captain in 2025.
