Andrew Lownie’s new book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, also claims that the Duke of York later told his nephew that his marriage to Meghan Markle wouldn’t last more than a month.
It also claims that Andrew also accused Harry of going “bonkers” before calling him out for not doing any due diligence into her past.
However, after the story was published by the Daily Mail, Meghan and Harry’s lawyers shared a statement denying the claim.
The statement, which was also sent to Newsweek, read: “I can confirm Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make the comments he is alleged to have made about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”
Harry and Meghan’s team also told NewsWeek: “Such are the gross inaccuracies, damaging and defamatory remarks made in the Daily Mail‘s story, I can confirm a legal letter from Prince Harry’s counsel has been sent to the Mail.”
As well ranking in ninth place in Amazon’s most read list, Harry has faced humiliation after his book was included in their list of ‘Best Sellers in Women’s Biographies’.
Despite Amazon’s blunder, Scotland’s football manager, Duncan Ferguson’s autobiography also ranked at number 21 in the list of ‘Best Sellers in Women’s Biographies’.
