Bombshell poll shows Farage would win a landslide election with 200+ seats | Politics | News

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK is on course to win a 200 seat majority at the general election, strategists believe.

Bombshell polling currently puts the party at 34% – more than the Tories and Labour combined – but experts are confident this will jump to 40% by Christmas.

The revelation comes as the party prepares to welcome more big name defectors to what it calls the “Great Endeavour” after Danny Kruger and Nadine Dorries jumped ship to the insurgent movement.

A general election must be held by August 2029 at the latest.

A senior Reform source told the Express: “Nigel never wanted to be prime minister but if not us, who? And if not now, then when?

“Not only must we win but we must deliver because the future of our country is at stake.

“Nigel is ready, the party isn’t, but we are working our socks off.”

Current voting intention – which experts believe significantly underestimates the situation on the ground – puts Reform on a 166 seat majority and the Lib Dems as the official opposition with 73.

Labour would haemorrhage 353 seats leaving it with 58 while the Tories would all be wiped out with just 19 MPs.

Reform now has around 240,000 fully paid up members.

But numbers – both in terms of members and voting intention – are set to receive a massive bounce after Rachel Reeves delivers her Budget on November 26 when another round of tax rises is expected to be unleashed.

Immigration remains the number one concern, but the tanking economy, parlous state of public services, obsession with net zero, and the seemingly unstoppable public sector march towards political correctness all rankling with voters.

The source added: “The Conservatives simply can’t be trusted. They said one thing and did the other for three elections in a row. People can see this.

“It is simply astonishing that Labour – as useless as they are – are now more competent on immigration. It is quite clear people have had enough.

“Danny joining was a big moment because he’s no headbanger. He’s basically Tory mainstream. His job wasn’t under threat, not for another four years. And this is being replicated across the board with thoughtful, decent people joining us daily at a local branch level.

“Hubris is a dangerous thing, of course, but I can’t see a change of leader will do the Tories or Labour any good. There’s talk of Andy Burnham (Mayor of Greater Manchester) looking for a safe seat – but is there one? Not judging by these numbers.

“The DE demographic (semi-skilled and unskilled manual occupations) have always been out and proud for Reform but there are an awful lot of shy Reformers in the ABC1 (upper and middle classes).

“People who believe in defence, honour, and pride, the things associated with small C Conservatism can see there is only one choice.”
