Black Sabbath’s inaugural album in 1970 reached the UK top 10 and established the foundation for numerous successful records.

The group subsequently became one of the most groundbreaking metal acts in history, shifting over 75 million albums globally.

Black Sabbath secured their place in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, with Ozzy earning his second induction last year.

The founding members featured Ozzy, Bill Ward, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi.

They took to the stage together one last time during the Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park on July 5.

The heavy metal legends were the final act to perform as part of an impressive lineup, close to the Crown pub where they delivered their debut gig in 1968.

During the opening of his solo set, Ozzy made his entrance by ascending on a massive black throne through a stage trapdoor.

He wore his iconic black outfit and distinctive heavy eye makeup.
