What our Post expert thinks about White Sox vs. Guardians
The Guardians are sending ace Gavin Williams to the mound, hoping he can deliver a gem and silence Chicago’s hot bats. Williams finished the regular season second in all of baseball with 248 strikeouts.
Murakami and Miguel Vargas have homered off the right-hander in previous matchups, while Williams has dominated Colson Montgomery, striking out the shortstop eight times in nine career at-bats.
