The best news fans could get about this game is that Nikola Jokic is back on the court. The three-time MVP missed 16 games after he suffered a hyperextended knee in late December. In his absence, the Nuggets have continued to roll with a 10-6 record, the fourth-best mark over that stretch.
The Thunder have hit an interesting point in their season. They opened the season with a 24-1 record, but have gone 14-10 in the next 24. While most teams would laugh at the idea that winning 58 percent of their games over an extended stretch means they’re struggling, the Thunder have very different expectations than the rest of the league.
