Royal fans are praising the “beautiful” photo of Mike and Zara Tindall released alongside Magic Millions ahead of the couple’s imminent Australian adventure.
The pair will participate in the 10-day equestrian carnival on the Gold Coast, which features polo, showjumping, and beach racing events.
Magic Millions has been a regular fixture in Zara’s calendar since 2012 when she became the face of the event following her Olympic silver medal win in the London 2012 Olympics.
The post on Instagram read: “We can’t wait to welcome our favourite UK couple back to the Gold Coast in a few days! Join Zara and Mike Tindall at the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping, as Zara takes to the Polo field for team @thestargoldcoast and Mike provides insightful and humorous commentary from the sidelines.”
Wearing a floral cream and yellow dress and nude heels, Zara shows off her long legs in the candid snap as she sits with her arms wrapped around her husband.
Mike, meanwhile, looks dapper in a grey blazer, with a white collared shirt, white trousers, and brown shoes.
Commenting underneath the image, one fan wrote: “They are a beautiful couple, always seem really happy and adore each other, lovely.”
Another said: “I love these two so much…she looks at him the way I look at my husband….they are a team and adore each other.”
Praising Zara’s role with Magic Millions, one wrote: “Zara was wonderful last year, can’t wait to go back this year!”
Another fan gushed: “They are so friendly. I have several pictures taken with them at the polo.”
Zara and Mike Tindall are set to embark on an exciting trip to Australia shortly after spending Christmas celebrations with family. Still, the royal couple will not be taking their children on their Australian adventure.
Mia, 10, Lena, 6, and Lucas, 3, will be at home in the UK while their parents attend the event.
Sporty Zara, patron of Magic Millions Racing Women, champions the Magic Millions initiative year-round globally and in January each year at The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival on the Gold Coast. The event has evolved significantly since its beginnings as a yearling auction and race day.
Previously expressing her love for Australia, the mum-of-three said: “We love the lifestyle and the weather obviously is incredible. It’s just very relaxed. We’ve got a lot of friends out there.”
Australia holds fond memories for Zara. At the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Sydney, Zara met her future husband, Mike, at a local pub.
