“Baywatch” actor Thaddeus LaGrone is on the mend after suffering an injury during filming of the highly-anticipated reboot of the popular 90s show.
LaGrone was shooting a scene in Redondo Beach Monday with costars including Shay Mitchell when he cut his leg open during a stunt.
LaGrone and his fellow cast members were running down a dock to a boat when LaGrone jumped into the boat to confront an apparent villain.
After jumping, LaGrone went down and was very slow to get up. Once back on his feet, LaGrone winced in pain as the scene was stopped and crew members surrounded the boat. Medics on set helped LaGrone with his injury, but he was eventually sent to a local ER for further care.
A short time later, the actor was seen with a bandage on his shin with some visible blood coming through.
However, LaGrone was OK and the incident did not interrupt the rest of the filming for the show, a production source told The Post.
The hype surrounding the “Baywatch” reboot has been significant, with thousands showing up for an open casting call in Los Angeles last month.
Livvy Dunne, Brooks Nader and Noah Beck are among the stars to join the cast as shooting has ramped up across the city.
