Bali may be a dream destination, but it can prove costly, with flights often costing over £1,000. Alongside which, the journey takes over 17 hours, making visiting rather difficult for some. However, there’s somewhere much closer (and more affordable) that’s a perfect dupe for the Indonesian island.
The budget holiday experts at Holiday Pirates have highlighted Alicante as the perfect choice for those looking for the Bali atmosphere for a lower price tag. Sharing a two-night deal that will cost just £235 per person for two, they recommend a stay at the five-star Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, which can be booked via Trivago.
The experts have paired this with flights from London Gatwick to Alicante on November 4 with a return on 6, which costs just £34 when flying with easyJet.
