Rupert Lowe’s petition calling for mass deportations has hit 300,000 signatures days after being launched. The petition on the official Parliament website by the Independent MP calls on the Government to establish offshore detention facilities to process and deport illegal migrants.It is due to receive a response from the Government after hitting 10,000 names and could be debated by MPs as it has passed the 100,000 threshold. After years of construction, Long Thanh International Airport in Vietnam aims to open its doors in 2026. Located in Ho Chi Minh City, it is set to become Vietnam’s largest airport.The new building is located on 5,000 hectares of land in Long Thanh, and is aiming to eventually welcome as many as 100 million passengers a year.
