Jannik Sinner is just one game away from retaining his Australian Open title, with the defending champion going up against Alexander Zverev in the men’s singles final.
He is the heavy favourite to secure the honours in Melbourne but Zverev will be hoping to upset the apple cart and claim the spoils for himself.
Sinner eased to a one-sided victory over Ben Shelton in the last four, while his opponent was gifted a win over Novak Djokovic with the Serb retiring due to injury.
Zverev has lost his previous two Grand Slam final appearances but will go into today’s match with fresher legs than Sinner, having played just 82 minutes against Djokovic.
