A terrifying scene unfolded in Arizona after police found a toddler strapped to a car seat inside a smoke-filled home — while the child’s mom was allegedly passed out drunk on the floor.

The shocking scene was captured on bodycam footage from Glendale Police Department officers who rushed to a home near 67th Avenue and Cactus Road on Aug. 1 after reports of a house fire, according to 12News.

A woman was arrested in Glendale, Ariz. for allegedly leaving a child strapped in a car seat during a house fire, records show. 12News

The video shows cops charging into the smoke-filled home before discovering a 2-year-old child helplessly strapped in a car seat and unable to escape.

The officers quickly scooped up the barely conscious, unresponsive toddler and rushed the child outside to safety so they could breathe fresh air.

Police then return to find the mother asleep on the floor unconscious by the couch. She’s since been identified as 26-year-old Kallien Heathman.

In the video, cops attempt several times to wake up Heathman, informing her they are there and then dragging her out of the home. Video shows her screaming and fighting with them amid their attempts to get her safely outside.

Officers then discover the fire was caused by pizza cooking in the microwave, per the report.

Authorities said Heathman’s 7-year-old child called his dad, who then dialed 911.

When police arrived, the father of the kid told officers the woman inside was staying at her father’s home, identifying the person inside as his ex.

When the allegedly drunk mom was arrested, her blood alcohol level was five times the legal limit, per FOX 10.

Heathman was the guardian at the time for both of the kids, and has since been charged with felony child abuse after leaving them unsupervised while she was allegedly severely intoxicated, per the report.
