Argos Nintendo Switch OLED Black Friday deal is almost too good to be true

If you’ve been paying attention to some of the early Black Friday deals, then you’ll know there are big bargains to be found on the Nintendo Switch and some of its best games.

The Nintendo eShop, for example, is selling Hogwarts Legacy for just £14.99 and Portal Companion Collection for less than £4. If you’re after some additional recommendations, these are some of the best Switch discounts available from the eShop for Black Friday 2024.

If, however, you don’t actually own a Nintendo Switch, then Argos has a deal that’s almost too good to be true.

Available for a limited time only, Argos is selling the Nintendo Switch OLED console with a copy of Super Mario Bros. Wonder for just £289.99. As an added bonus, you’ll also receive a 12 month subscription to Switch Online, which is valued at £17.99.

Just click the link below to take advantage of the offer.

Of course, it goes without saying that with a deal this good you’ll need to act fast to avoid missing out.

The Switch OLED Black Friday bundle is listed as a Hot Product on the Argos website, which means it’s selling fast.

There’s no end date for the Switch OLED offer, but it’s unlikely to stick around past Cyber Monday on December 2.

Far superior to the original Switch, the OLED model comes with a bigger 7-inch OLED screen. The OLED display is far brighter than its predecessor, featuring more vibrant colours that really bring Nintendo’s games to life.

It also fixes one of my biggest gripes with the original Switch console. The flimsy stand of old is replaced by a wider stand that’s much hardier.

Elsewhere, the Switch OLED comes with a wired LAN port for online play, as well as 64GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio.

Of course, like the original Switch, the OLED can be played like a traditional console on TV, or used as a handheld device.

You can even stand the console on a table, remove the controllers and play local multiplayer with friends or family.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder, on the other hand, is one of the best games to release in 2023.

While it’s a return to Mario’s side-scrolling platforming roots, Super Mario Bros. Wonder features new pick-ups that completely transform the way you play.

This could be anything from pipes coming alive under Mario’s feet, to a stampede of enemies destroying everything in sight.

Finally, Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions can be used to access a ton of retro Nintendo games.

This includes classic NES games like Metroid and Super Mario Bros. 3, to Super Nintendo titles like Mario Kart and Zelda: Link to the Past.

You can also use your Nintendo Switch Online subscription to access online multiplayer games, letting you play with friends.
