Suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heurmann kept a twisted Tinder account and contacted prostitutes on his burner phones more than 500 times on burner phones, a new court filing claimed.
The hulking Massapequa Park architect, who is on trial for allegedly killing seven woman, routinely had sleazy interactions with at least 60 sex workers and routinely searched the of internet for disturbing porn that showed women “crying, bruised and impaled,” according to court documents filed by Suffolk County prosecutors last week.
Heurmann, who was a married father of two working in New York City at the time, used the name “Andy” on the popular dating app, the documents claimed.
District Attorney Ray Tierney’s office filed a motion last week arguing against tossing some evidence in Heuerman’s upcoming trial, revealing new details of the alleged murderer’s sickening Internet addiction — including searching for pictures of his alleged victim’s families mourning their deaths.

Heuermann was arrested in July 2023 for the serial slayings that took place over two decades, with his trial expected to get underway in September.
The legal papers showed the alleged killer’s Tinder account was on a burner phone that activated in July 2019.
While the accused murderer wasn’t apparently swiping, he had “significant contact” with dozens of prostitutes, according to prosecutors.
Heuermann allegedly used one burner phone to contact 56 sex workers or massage parlors more than 300 times and buzzed 61 prostitution-related numbers more than 220 times, according to the court filing.
“The significance of the defendant’s recent use of burner phones to patronize sex workers cannot be dismissed,” prosecutors wrote in the court filing, first reported on by Newsday.
“This evidence was not offered to ‘vilify’ the defendant’s for his sexual conduct, as he so claims, but rather to establish the defendant’s identity and modus operandi.”
Prosecutors alleged Heuermann made “significant searches for pornography related to bindings, torture, rape, snuff videos, crying, bruised and impaled women and/or girls.”

The 62-year-old accused killer also looked “for [images of] family members of the [Gilgo Four] mourning the deceased,” the filing states.
The Gilgo Four refer to four of Heuermann’s alleged victims whose remains were found in 2010.
A Suffolk police detective said that there is “clear evidence” that Heuermann is a “sexual sadist,” according to the DA.
A call to Heuermann’s lawyer’s office was not immediately returned.
Heuermann is accused of killing the seven sex workers and dumping their bodies along barren stretches of Long Island near Gilgo Beach between 1993 and 2010.
He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges.
