Amazon Prime watchers are in for a treat this week as we take a look at the most watched films on the streaming platform right now. This week, the top 10 includes one a recent performance from Nicole Kidman, a couple from the same franchise and a Robert De Niro release from 2023.

Here are the top 10 films on Amazon Prime right now. Are you up to date?

10. Tin Soldier

This 2023 release starring Robert De Niro follows an ex-special forces operative as he seeks revenge against a cult leader who has corrupted his former comrades. It’s an action thriller with a cast comprising of Jamie Foxx, Scott Eastwood and pop star Rita Ora alongside De Niro.

9. A Simple Favour

A Simple Favour continues to feature in the charts following the release of Another Simple Favour, starring Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. The premise of the film follows mum and vlogger Stephanie as she joins her best friend Emily’s husband, Sean, in an investigation into the sudden disappearance of Emily from their small town.

8. Longlegs

Longlegs stays in the same position as it stood last week, in a month featuring many horror releases. After its release last year, Longlegs follows the murders of multiple families over a 30-year period. It is a cult focused horror with Nicholas Cage playing a satanist and elusive serial killer who manipulates others into committing the murders.

7. G20

G20 drops five spots after being the second most-watched film last week. The action thriller movie starring Viola Davis follows a terrorist attack at the G20 Summit, and President Danielle Sutton uses her skills in military and governing to defend her fellow leaders and family.

6. The Assessment

The Assessment is a sci-fi thriller that was originally released last year. It stars Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Olsen and Himesh Patel and was directed by Fleur Fortuné in her feature-length debut. The utopian film is set in a climate change-ravaged world where society endures parenthood assessments.

5. The Accountant

The Accountant stay’s at the same spot on this week’s list. Ben Affleck and J.K. Simmons star in The Accountant, which is about a certified public accountant with autism who works for several companies, illegally manipulating their financial records. The second installment, The Accountant 2 is out in cinemas right now, nine years on from the original’s debut.

4. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera

Hopping up by two spots is a recent release, which is the second instalment in the Den of Thieves franchise. This time, Gerald Butler is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (O’Shea Jackson Jr), who is involved with the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a huge heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange.

3. Conclave

Following last week’s announcement of the new Pope, Conclave stays strong at number three. Conclave was released last year and received many awards, including the BAFTA for Best Film. The film shows what goes on in the Conclave when electing the next Pope, and it has huge cultural relevance. It stars Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow.

2. Babygirl

A new entry on the list is Nicole Kidman’s recent picture, Babygirl. She stars alongside Harris Dickinson in this romantic yet risky movie. The story follows a high-powered CEO as she puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much younger intern. The erotic film has received mixed reviews but continues to keep watchers intrigued.

1. Another Simple Favour

Holding the top spot once again, it’s Another Simple Favour. The sequel to A Simple Favour, starring Lively and Kendrick, this time follows Stephanie Smothers as she travels to Italy to be the maid of honour for the sly and conniving Emily. She soon realises that Emily’s goodwill is all a facade, and revenge ensues.
