Nine retro toys – popular back in the day – are back on the Christmas wish list for 2024. From Scalextric racing cars, first invented in 1956, to Corgi’s famous model vehicles – held in high esteem by baby boomers – there’s a present to please any motorhead.
While Corgi models were originally seen as simply toys for boys, they have since gained an expanding following in the collectables market.
One of Corgi’s best-known model is James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, which is the perfect gift for film buffs who are into collecting models.
Whether it’s a little boy or an older man who you are hoping to surprise at Christmas time, these gifts could be the one they are glowing about over Christmas lunch.
Could one of these nine gifts bring forth a sentimental touch of nostalgia, or introduce a little one to a pastime that an elder relative loved?
