Lando Norris said his brake isssue at the Chinese Grand Prix was the realisation of his ‘worst nightmare’. The McLaren star limped to second place behind team-mate Oscar Piastri after being told over the team radio to ease off.

“It was scary,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s like my worst nightmare, when the brakes are failing. I was losing up to four seconds in the last couple of laps. I was a bit scared. I would have liked to put Oscar under a little bit of pressure but we’re satisfied and we go again next time.”
