The Chinese Grand Prix will mark round two of the 2025 F1 season this weekend and the first of six sprint races. Lando Norris won the opener in Australia, setting up a blockbuster year. McLaren’s marquee driver was primed for an intra-team fight with a charging Oscar Piastri before the home hero found the grass at the penultimate corner, and the 23-year-old now has ground to make up if he is to fight for a maiden Drivers’ Championship title.
Max Verstappen hasn’t given up on adding a fifth successive title to his collection, either. The reigning world champion pushed Norris to the line in Melbourne, and Red Bull believe that they can improve his machinery before the halfway mark in the campaign.
