Proud to be supporting an important cause, Princess Eugenie praised the “fantastic work” of the Royal British Legion as she attended a glitzy event ahead of Remembrance Day, 2024.
On November 7, Eugenie attended ‘The Poppy Ball’ dinner where over £36K was raised for the charity of which she is patron.
Looking stunning in an off-shoulder black embroidered dress, the Princess uploaded a series of pictures onto Instagram along with a caption: “Last night, ahead of Remembrance Day, I was honoured to join The Poppy Ball dinner in which over £36,000 was raised for the Royal British Legion.
“Since its inception in 2010 it has raised over £1.5 million for the RBL. Fantastic work & I’m so proud to be a patron @royalbritishlegion #rememberanceday #royalbritishlegion.”
Dressed for the occasion, Princess Eugenie had a poppy pinned to her Peter Pilotto Cold-Shoulder Embroidered Cady Gown.
As an avid support of sustainable fashion, the Princess chose to recycle the dress, which she has previously worn.
This dress has delicate straps and blue piping to accentuate the long tie belt, teal side panels and flounces along the skirt and cold shoulders.
Fans rushed to social media to praise the Princess for her efforts and style. One wrote: “Well done Eugenie. Your dress is amazing. The Royal British Legion do an amazing job.”
Another wrote: “She is like a phantom and suddenly she stands in the room and enchants people with her dress of magic, that cool Eugenie is a princess of people’s hearts!!!”
A third fan commented: “How amazing!? And the gown is beautiful.”
