If you are looking for a compact air filter without the need to swap out filters, Vitesy Eteria may be the one for you.
The Vitesy Eteria Portable Air Purifier promises to monitor and control air quality without the need for filters.
The design of the purifier is unlike others on the market as it has one photocatalytic filter that can be washed. Meaning, the filter can simply be taken out, rinsed and dried and ready to go again.
It can also be controlled using voice commands and with the intuitive “Vitesy Hub App” you can choose the mode and intensity of purification according to your needs.
I personally found the design sleek and compact, making it ideal for small spaces. It is discreet enough to fit in with your decor without standing out like larger air purifiers.
It is light and easy to move about, say if you wanted to move it to a different room or even travel with it.
It is also quiet, although not silent but you can easily tune it out and it is more like white noise. And if you have the TV on it is not distracting at all.
The air in my bedroom did feel fresher, and as someone prone to a stuffy nose from the air conditioner at work and the slightest bit of dust at home, I did feel like it helped keep my airways clear.
I am someone who likes to crack a window open in all weather and through the night, but when I had a cold, I didn’t really want the freezing air to pour in, so the air purifier was a great alternative.
There is also some evidence air purifiers in general can help people with asthma, and I think this compact one from Vitesy Eteria would be perfect for my four-year-old’s room as it is the box room and I feel the size would have a bigger impact than in my larger main bedroom.
This is the trade off you make for having a smaller purifier.
Overall, I think the air in my room felt fresher and lighter, but I also like the freshness of an open window, so I think this may be best for people who want the benefits of the open window without having to let out expensive heat.
I did also use it when cooking steak – because I know the smell can linger – and I did think it got rid of the cooking odours quicker than usual.
And the washable filter is a gamechanger in this market where filters can be expensive to replace. There are limited reviews on Amazon, but one said they thought every home should have one.
Robinho said: “Im very impressed with this product as it does exactly what it states on the box. Every household needs one of these! Would highly recommened!”
Michael said: “Works perfectly, I’m asthmatic and I’ve noticed a huge improvement at home, the app shows exactly what the air quality is like and it’s really helped me. Highly recommend”
