A traveller was gobsmacked after noticing the shape of a dog in the clouds during a flight.

Charlotte found herself on a RyanAir trip from France to Malta, and while attempting to unwind and savour the scenery out of her aircraft window, she caught sight of an unusual cloud formation.

She observed what appeared to be a canine figure frolicking with a ball among the clouds and felt compelled to record this serendipitous moment, as covered by What’s The Jam.

Charlotte recorded the astonishing scene and later uploaded it to TikTok, where the video captured people’s attention and amassed over 6.1 million views.

Her video, featuring a closer look at an extensive sky expanse, eventually clears to reveal clouds resembling a playful pooch and its toy, and is backed by the tune ‘Latch’ by Sam Smith.

It included the touching caption “I saw my dog in paradise.” Charlotte touched the hearts of viewers when she posted the clip on 17 January, earning more than 1.1 million likes and prompting over 2,000 people to comment.

Moved by the image, Stella reacted: “Naw, I’m crying.”[sic]. Sharing their sentiments, Baby expressed: “I would never recover from this, honestly. I can’t even recover from seeing this video.”

Adding a sweet thought, Lucy contributed: “Looks like he’s waiting up there for you to play fetch.” Julo made a spiritual remark: “The proof that the dog paradise exists.”

Echoing the sentiment, another chimed in: “All dogs go to heaven.” Bringing in cultural references, Katt mused: “Snoopy playing free in paradise.”

Aleksey commented on the clip’s beauty: “It’s fantastically beautiful.” And as Park reflected on personal loss: “I suddenly cry because I miss my old dog too.”

It wouldn’t be the first time that something unexpected was spotted in the clouds from a plane window, however, as back in 2016, one passenger saw what they thought was a floating pole in the sky, reports the Mirror.

Sharing the mysterious photos on Reddit, the passenger explained that they had been flying over the sea at the time, with users’ theories ranging from a contrail to a flare, from a beacon to the Mendip Transmitting Station.
