Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is set to be grilled by MPs as fury mounts over Labour’s failure to commit to a national inquiry into the grooming gangs scandal.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch will today ramp up demands for a public probe into the child grooming scandal to end the “culture of cover ups” in British institutions.
The Conservative is to challenge Keir Starmer by tabelling an amendment to Labour’s Children’s Wellbeing Bill.
But the controversy is also likely to feature in Prime Minister’s Questions, from midday.
