It’s over for Bill Belichick and his 25-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

The two broke up at the end of 2025, TMZ reported Friday.

Belichick and Hudson, who generated plenty of headlines after their relationship became public in the summer of 2024, ended things “late last year,” per TMZ.

A source told TMZ that the two are “committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends.”

The 74-year-old Belichick, now in his second season as coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels football team, met Hudson aboard a 2021 flight.

Hudson has been seen at numerous games with Belichick this season.

The couple’s relationship came under heavy scrutiny following Belichick’s disastrous appearance on “CBS Sunday Morning,” when Hudson interjected during the coach’s sit-down with Tony Dokoupil in April 2025.

When Dokoupil asked Belichick how he and Hudson met, she punted the question and said, “We’re not talking about this.”

In the wake of the controversial sit-down, reports of Hudson’s alleged pushy behavior surfaced, with sources claiming to Page Six that she “forced” her way into a star-studded Dunkin’ commercial that aired during Super Bowl 2025 in February. Podcaster Pablo Torre then dedicated multiple episodes to Hudson’s relationship with Belichick and the management of his commercial ventures, along with her connection to the UNC program. In November of 2025, she threatened to sue Torre, but as of October, she has not.

In early September, at the start of this college football season, in rare comments about Hudson, Belichick sat down for an interview with the Wall Street Journal and dispelled any notions that she had sway in how the team was run.

“The way the story was picked up was a long way from that,” he told the outlet. “Like, ‘She’s trying to be the general manager of the team,’ and it’s so ridiculous.”

Belichick also explained why he had asked for UNC’s communications staff to copy Hudson on emails early in his Tar Heels tenure.

“I sent an email when I got here and I said, Can you please forward any requests to Jordon about my personal appearances so that I can work and coordinate them outside the university?” Belichick told the WSJ. “Didn’t have anything to do with the university. Well, that was leaked as released as ‘Jordon’s involved in every single thing that I do and she’s copied on every email.’ That’s just a flat-out lie.”

Before his romance with Hudson, Belichick was in a long-term relationship with Linda Holliday, whom he had been linked to since 2007. Page Six reported their breakup in September 2023.
