The Dodgers return home tonight for Game 3 of the NLCS in must-win mode.
After two games in Milwaukee, the reigning World Series champs are down 0-2 to the 103-win Milwaukee Brewers.
In Monday’s Game 2, the Brewers rallied to overcome three separate deficits for a 7-4 victory. In the win, catcher William Contreras because just the fourth player in MLB history with three separate game-tying or go-ahead hits in a postseason game, and the first since Sandy Alomar did so for Cleveland in the 1997 ALDS.

Now, the attention shifts to Los Angeles, where the Dodgers will look to starting pitcher Blake Snell to save their season after an injury-filled year. Despite a hitting slump, the Dodgers elected to keep Shohei Ohtani in the lineup for Game 3 in the hopes that he can find his swing.
In the history of best-of-seven postseason series, teams holding a 2-0 lead have gone on to win that series 79 times (out of 95 total), so the Dodgers have their work cut out for them to keep hopes for a three-peat alive.
