WASHINGTON — Firebrand Rep. Nancy Mace’s ex-fiancé and two other men were hit with sex crime charges Wednesday, over a year and a half after the congresswoman’s famous House floor speech unveiling rape accusations.

Her ex-fiancé, Patrick Bryant, and his associate Eric Bernard Bowman were charged with voyeurism for allegedly watching while John Douglas Osborne engaged in sex acts with an incapacitated 23-year-old woman in 2018.

The men allegedly coordinated about who would carry out the egregious acts on the highly intoxicated woman, prosecutors alleged.

They allegedly recorded the crime and took photos in an uppity part of Charleston, South Carolina.

A witness observed a security feed at the home and chronicled it in a journal.

The alleged assault took place before Mace and Bryant got engaged in 2022. The two later called it off in 2023.

Osborne is now facing two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct as well as first-degree assault and battery, while Bryant and Bowman are both facing voyeurism charges.

Mace made the accusations against the three men public in a dramatic February 2025 speech on the House floor.

Bryant later sued her for defamation, but Mace claimed protections under the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause.

“I accidentally uncovered some of the most heinous crimes against women imaginable — we are talking about rape, nonconsensual photos, nonconsensual videos of women and underage girls, and the premeditated, calculated exploitation,” Mace revealed in her shocking speech.

“Today you will hear about the depraved men behind these gutless, evil acts,” she added. “These men didn’t just harm their victims; they recorded their depravity as if it were a badge of honor.”
