Four weeks into the regular season, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has still not won a game.

But he’s still winning off the field, given his engagement to American musician Madison Beer.

Unfortunately for Herbert, a disgruntled fan used Beer’s stunning beauty against him as the Chargers took the field after halftime against the Seattle Seahawks last weekend.

The fan was standing next to the Chargers’ tunnel as they entered the field. Herbert was right in front of him as he said, “Hey Herbert! Herbert! Two meatball subs, man. You’re just as bad as your girl!”

Herbert had no choice but to pretend not to hear, and mercifully got to flee the scene moments later.

A video of this has gone viral on social media, as fans find it hilarious that this fan managed to use “bad” as both a positive and a negative in the same sentence.

The fan is calling Beer “bad” in the sense that she’s physically attractive while calling “Herbert” bad in the traditional, underperforming sense.

Chargers fans were entering the season with hopes that Herbert could get two rings over the next year, one when getting married to Beer and one for winning the Super Bowl.

The former is still on schedule. The latter could not be further away at this point.
