The Eagles and Bears are set to conclude an exciting Week 3 slate of games at Soldier Field in Chicago on “Monday Night Football.”

This matchup features a quarterback duel that isn’t what we anticipated, as Jalen Hurts leads the Eagles while 38-year-old Case Keenum takes the reins for the Bears.

Chicago’s offense struggled in their last game, falling back to reality after a high-scoring Week 1.

They lost 9-3 at home to the Vikings, and the situation worsened when Caleb Williams tweaked his hamstring during the game.

Nick Sirianni and the Eagles are 4-point favorites against the Bears, with Keenum making his first NFL start since 2023.

Ben Johnson’s collection of playmakers, including Colston Loveland, Rome Odunze, and Luther Burden, will have to display chemistry with Keenum, but it’s anticipated that D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monagai will see an increase in rush attempts.

Last season, the tandem combined for 255 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-15 win over the Eagles on Black Friday.

Williams’ injury should heavily influence the game script, and entering Week 3, Philadelphia has allowed 127 yards on the ground to opposing backs, which is something that the Bears will keep an eye on.

It wasn’t a pretty box score for Hurts and the Eagles in Tennessee, but they overcame early injuries of their own to right the ship in a 24-20 win over the Titans in Week 2.

Both Saquon Barkley and Dallas Goedert suffered injuries, with the latter now out for a few games with a sprained MCL.

Barkley was stopped on the first play of the game by Jeffrey Simmons and immediately went to the medical tent. However, MRIs showed no damage; instead, he was described as having a ‘stinger.’

The Eagles smartly monitored his snaps, as Barkley played just 10 of 72 in the second half, finishing with an underwhelming four carries for nine yards.

With fresh legs underneath him and the Bears allowing a generous 122 yards on the ground entering Week 3, I’m expecting Barkley to turn back the clock with a bounce-back effort.

His prop on BetMGM to score a touchdown checks in at -118, and pairing that with the Eagles to cover against an uncertain Keenum seems like a feasible parlay option.

The Play: SGP (+180, BetMGM) — Saquon Barkley to score a touchdown (-118) + Eagles – 4 (-110)
