Grading the Giants’ 28-6 loss to the Rams at SoFi Stadium on Monday:
Offense
An offensive line that dominated the Cowboys in the run and pass had a lot of trouble (eight quarterback hits and 2.5 yards per carry) with the Myles Garrett-less Rams. The Giants had three first-half possessions in Rams territory and managed three points because of a punt after Jaxson Dart’s knee injury, Jameis Winston’s underthrown end zone interception and three straight stuffed runs inside the 10-yard line leaving a chip-shot field goal. Winston was completely out of sorts en route to a 37.7 rating. Cam Skattebo (36 rushing yards), Isaiah Likely (33 receiving yards) and Malik Nabers (1 yard) were nonfactors.

Defense
Jevón Holland had two forced fumbles, an interception (his second in as many games) and a fumble recovery after taking a misstep on Davante Adams’ 31-yard touchdown. Tyler Nubin had no makeup plays for slipping on Adams’ 64-yard catch as part of his 195-yard game. In the final 25 seconds of the first half, the Giants allowed 40 yards on four plays but were left off the hook by a missed 42-yard field goal. Rookie Colton Hood’s first career start was forgettable except for by Matthew Stafford, who threw four touchdown passes. The Rams would’ve topped 500 yards (481) if not for the early victory formation. One sack and two quarterback hits is not nearly enough for this vaunted pass rush.
