Bo Bichette isn’t saying yet whether he plans on returning to the Mets next season, but he was willing this week to engage in one hypothetical about his future.
Mainly, he’s open to a position change if he’s back with the team.
“I would be willing to do whatever,” Bichette said.
For clarification, I asked whether that included first base, as well as the more obvious possibility that the former shortstop could shift to second base.
