Matheus Cunha has been hit with a two-game ban for an incident following his team’s game with Ipswich earlier this month. After the visitors had won 2-1 at Molineux, tempers flared at the final whistle with the Brazilian getting embroiled in an altercation with players and coaches of the away side.
He was charged with misconduct by the FA after appearing to elbow an Ipswich member of staff before snatching his glasses off his face.
The 25-year-old has now been fined £80,000, will miss Wolves’ Premier League game with Nottingham Forest and the FA Cup third-round trip to Bristol City.
