Observations from Giants training camp on Tuesday.
The Good
Odell Beckham Jr. saw a major uptick in first-team reps. John Harbaugh called it part of the day-to-day rotation, but a conspiracy theorist might point to wanting a better evaluation of Beckham, who has been getting separation but not getting targeted with the second-team offense. He had what might have been a touchdown but it was bang-bang out of bounds.

The Bad
The Giants cut their shocking amount of penalties in half from the day before, but seven is still too many. Four were false starts. And QB Jaxson Dart committed an unsportsmanlike conduct after running for a touchdown.
Caught My Eye
The Giants did their most 1-on-1s of camp – and the first for receivers vs. cornerbacks. WR Dalen Cambre, a camp star, shook rookie CB Colton Hood in coverage and Art Green had a diving one-handed pass break-up. The rest of the team was doing 9-on-7 run-game work.
Injury Report
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee swelling) did not practice. WR Malachi Fields was held out of 11-on-11 drills. CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse did not practice for the second straight day.
