A tragic 13-year-old boy riding on the back of a motorized scooter in Queens was killed when his teen pal swerved to avoid an open car door and hit a truck Monday afternoon, cops said.

The scooter, driven by another 13-year-old boy, was heading south on 162nd Street near 45th Avenue in Flushing around 12:40 p.m. when another motorist stepped out of a parked car, police said.

The young teen scooter driver tried to dodge that car’s open door — but when he made the swift move, he collided with a truck heading in the same direction, police said.
