Yankees’ Jazz Chisholm Jr. left in awe of friend Josh Hart

The beauty of Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s simulated jump shot during the Roll Call at Yankee Stadium — and as he rounds the bases on certain home runs — is that it never rims out.

Josh Hart isn’t a 1,000 percent shooter for the Knicks because he is aiming a real basketball at a real hoop — and the crazy thing about his career-best 26-point playoff performance Thursday in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals is that he caught fire from downtown (5-of-11) after missing his first three 3-point attempts.

On top of the humbling adversity of sitting during crunch time in Game 1, no less.

“I don’t think anyone in sports in general doesn’t have respect for that guy — even if they aren’t in New York,” Chisholm Jr. told The Post before Friday’s game against the Rays. “To be able to come back at a time like this, in the playoffs, and do what he did? That’s kind of legendary.”
