The Giants might be going with a receiver-by-committee approach.
Darnell Mooney is expected to sign on to be Jaxson Dart’s newest pass-catcher, The Post confirmed.
The one-year deal is worth up to $10 million, ESPN reported.
Mooney, 28, is only one year removed from 64 catches for 992 yards and five touchdowns with the Falcons.
Those numbers plummeted to 32 for 443 and one, respectively, over 15 games last season as his start was delayed by a broken collarbone and then he dealt with a hamstring injury.
Mooney’s six-year career has been hit or miss.
The 5-foot-11 former fifth-round pick averages 13 yards per catch with deep speed.
He had career highs of 81 catches and 1,055 yards with the 2021 Bears.

But he also has three sub-500-yard seasons.
The Giants have also added receiver Calvin Austin and tight end Isaiah Likely (slot flexibility) and re-signed receiver Isaiah Hodgins.

Austin and Mooney combined equal about the yardage last season from the departed Wan’Dale Robinson, who scored a four-year, $78 million deal with the Titans.
