NFL Network personality Jamie Erdahl explained Wednesday that she’s been absent from the airwaves recently due to a “tragic health situation” of an immediate family member.
Erdahl, who serves as a co-host on “Good Morning Football,” said she will return to the show on Monday, March 16.
“Since curiosity is mounting I’ll share what I feel comfortable with: I have been away from @GMFB due to an extremely personal + tragic health situation of an immediate family member,” Erdahl wrote on social media on Wednesday.

“I want to thank my leaders at the NFL for allowing me this time at home. I’ll be back on Monday.”
The future of NFL Network talent is up in the air as they will become employees of ESPN/Disney as of April 1, according to Front Office Sports.
The Worldwide Leader reportedly will absorb their contracts for the remainder of their current deals before it can negotiate new agreements with ESPN management.
Erdahl replaced former “GMFB” host Kay Adams (now at FanDuel TV) when the show relocated from New York to Los Angeles in 2022.
Before that, Erdahl was a host and sideline reporter at CBS Sports since 2014.
