The Big 12 is absolutely loaded and should be one of the more intriguing conferences to follow throughout March Madness.
Led by favorite Arizona (+100), there are four teams inside the AP Top 14 representing the Big 12, so expect fireworks and high-quality college hoops in each game.
Beginning Tuesday with Baylor vs. Arizona State, we dive into the entire tournament, providing bets on the winner and perhaps the best player in the country.
There are some intriguing wagers if you’re looking to fade the Arizona Wildcats and star freshman guard Brayden Burris.
That will be easier said than done, considering they are the No. 2 team in the country.

Big 12 Conference Tournament odds
The odds here are quite interesting, but it is first most important to keep in mind byes in the tournament.
Arizona, Houston, Kansas and Texas Tech each will skip the first two rounds of the tournament, which should be a big help to those contending squads and undoubtedly affect the odds.
Texas Tech has odds at 17/1 to win the tournament, while BYU is much further down the board at 100/1 despite similar KenPom and FTN rankings.

This conference is just so loaded that those byes mean the world to most of the contenders.
Houston is a particularly intriguing bet considering its rankings and bracket placement.
The second-seeded Cougars are on the opposite side of the Wildcats, though they line up for a potential semifinal clash with Kansas, which boasts projected top NBA Draft pick Darryn Peterson.
That’s a dangerous matchup for any team, especially if Peterson can get hot.
The Jayhawks are an intriguing team for me throughout the March Madness tournament, as they play strong defense and have one of the best players in the country.
Given that they are able to avoid the Wildcats –– whom they just lost to, 84-61 –– until the final, I think Kansas is the side to target here.
Betting on College Basketball?
Kansas just beat Houston, 69-5, and may just match up favorably with a strong team led by Kevin Sampson.
The Jayhawks will be an obvious hedge spot if they face Arizona in the Big 12 title game.
PREDICTION: Kansas Jayhawks win the Big 12 tournament (+900, Caesars Sportsbook)
