Three major royal children may end up going to an exclusive private school that demands a heft yearly fee of £39,000 also attended by their mother.
Prince William and Princess Kate are said to be very hands on parents, and are likely to have put a considerable amount of thought into where they wish to send their children to school.
Their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – are already receiving an elite education, with all attending Lambrook Prep School in Berkshire.
However, there is much speculation about where they will attend secondary school, especially around Prince George, who is 11.
While the Waleses have not announced where he or his siblings will go to school next, there is the possbility that they will be educated at the same place their mother was, according to OK! magazine.
Kate received her schooling at St Andrew’s School, then attended Downe House School in Berkshire briefly, before transferring to Marlborough College in Wiltshire, where she became incredbily popular among her classmates.
Marlborough College, with its annual fees of £39,930, is considered one of the UK’s premier boarding schools, renowned for its state-of-the-art sports facilities and expansive grounds.
As well as Princess Kate, the school’s alumni included Princess Eugenie, comedian Jack Whitehall, and Oscar-winning actress and screenwriter Emerald Fennell, known for her portrayal of Queen Camilla in Netflix’s The Crown.
However, should the Prince and Princess of Wales opt for a different educational path for their children, it’s speculated that Prince George and Prince Louis might follow their father to Eton College.
This rumour has been stoked by Prince George’s visit to the prestigious school with his parents last year.
His father Prince William also attended Eton from 1995 until 2000. Before that, he went to Wetherby Prep and then Ludgrove School.
