Senior MLB insider Jeff Passan is getting his own baseball podcast as part of a new multi-year extension with ESPN, the Worldwide Leader announced Monday.
Passan will host his own podcast in conjunction with Omaha Productions, the media company founded by former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning and sports executive Jamie Horowitz.
He will continue his role as one of ESPN’s lead MLB voices, delivering breaking news and analysis across ESPN.com and several of the network’s major television shows, including “SportsCenter” and “The Pat McAfee Show.”
“I came to ESPN seven years ago hoping to spend the rest of my career telling stories to the biggest and most passionate audience in the sports world,” Passan, 45, said in a ESPN release.
“I’m extraordinarily lucky to work with a team of great reporters, editors, producers, hosts and analysts. And I can’t wait to deliver an entirely new kind of baseball show for those who love the best game in the world.”
Passan reposted the news on X, including a GIF of a man pointing to himself and holding a Corona.
ESPN announced his new deal ahead of the 2026 MLB regular season, beginning March 25.

Passan, who is a New York Times bestselling author, joined ESPN in 2019 after spending 13 years at Yahoo Sports.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Passan is a graduate of Syracuse University.
