‘Bad look for our country’

President Trump slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday for speaking at the Munich Security Conference, describing their appearances at the high-profile European forum as a “bad look” for the US.

“I watched AOC answering questions in Munich – this was not a good look for the United States,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, referring to the “Squad” congresswoman.

The president then took aim at the Golden State governor.

“I watched Gavin Newscum answering questions in Munich, and this was a bad look for our country,” he said.

“These two people are incompetent,” the president raged, “and at least Hillary is competent. She’s just Trump deranged.”

“She was so deranged,” Trump said of Hillary Clinton, describing her as an “angry woman.”

The president was likely referring to Clinton’s combative panel at the conference with Czech Deputy Prime minister Petr Macinka, who attempted to defend Trump’s policies but was constantly interrupted by the failed 2016 Democratic presidential nominee.

Going back to Newsom and Ocasio-Cortez, Trump remarked: “I watched the other two speaking and answering basic questions … look, Gavin has destroyed California and AOC, I never really got to –  I never heard her speak very much.

“And they started answering questions … she had no idea what was happening. She had no idea how to answer, you know, very important questions concerning the world, but she can’t answer questions concerning New York City, either.”
