‘Sssexy snakes spotted in lover’s embrace on Valentine’s Day

Looks like love is in the air for everyone on Valentine’s Day after a visitor at Point Mugu State Park in Malibu captured a video of two snakes getting their roll on in a pile of hay.

Believe it or not, that’s exactly what happened. Early Saturday morning, the park visitor stumbled upon the kingsnakes mid-romance, catching the scaly brown and beige striped pair in the act.

California kingsnakes usually stretch three to five feet long, and though their mating rituals are common, they typically wait until spring.

This year, however, Valentine’s Day seemed to rouse the sleepy reptiles early for a surprise rendezvous.

The California State Parks account on X posted the footage alongside cheeky caption: “Love is in the air and on the trail!

“Aw, nothing says love like snuggling snakes,” commented one user, while another exclaimed, “Love finding these guys out in the wild.”
