Californians are big fans of OnlyFans.
Residents in the Golden State blew a staggering $350.6 million on the sometimes seamy subscription-based site last year, with Angelenos racking up one of the biggest bills in the country — $71.3 million.
LA came just behind New York City nationally in overall spending, according to a new deep-dive analysis from OnlyFans search engine, OnlyGuider. In the City of Angels, the breakdown means residents were spending roughly $195,000 per day for content.
The state’s eye-popping total accounts for nearly 13% of all OnlyFans spending nationwide — more than any other state in sheer dollars — and shows just how lucrative the adult content subscription economy has become in the Golden State.

“Despite its massive population diluting per-capita intensity, no other state comes close to California’s raw economic contribution to the creator economy,” the report says.
From SoCal to the Bay Area, money was flowing — but nowhere near the LA tide. San Diego clocked in with about $21.3 million, San Francisco and San Jose both spent about $11.7 million, and Fresno, the state’s fifth biggest spender, logged roughly $4.5 million.

In Los Angeles County, a total of $105.5 million was spent in 2025, with a whopping 70% of that money ($73.8 million) going toward direct messages and bespoke pay-per-view content, deepening the notion that fans are increasingly investing in personalized interactions, not just static subscriptions.
Since custom PPV involves making videos or photos tailored to fan’s specific asks, creators can charge more money. Most creators typically charge between $4.99 and $49.99 per month for subscriptions to their accounts.

While the city of LA reigns supreme for spending the most on OnlyFans in the county, other hotspots posted hefty engagement: Long Beach was the second highest spending city with $3.8 million and West Hollywood ranked third with $1.9 million.
