Tearjerker scene as NYC couple reunited with French bulldog Coco Chanel stolen during home invasion

A dog-loving Brooklyn couple was reunited with their beloved French bulldog, Coco Chanel, on Monday night — hours after a crew of brazen dognappers snatched the pooch in a home invasion heist.

Coco was saved after the armed bandits ditched her in a garage at Wyckoff Heights Medical Centers, where staffers took her in and recognized her from an article in The Post.

The couple trekked to nurse Amy O’Sullivan’s home on Staten Island for a heartwarming reunion with the 2-year-old pet late Monday.

“I missed you!” Coco’s owner, Kevin, swooned while kissing and petting Coco. “I was devastated. My heart just broke down. I was like, thank God. It was right the next day. I was so emotional.

“I was so happy because you found her,” he told O’Sullivan. “To know that your kid is gone. I come home everyday to her. Just thinking how long it is going to take to find her.”

Coco was stolen early Monday morning, when a gang of four armed bandits broke into the couple’s Bushwick home, demanded valuables and made off with the bulldog and $8,000 in Pokémon cards.

Hours later, O’Sullivan’s wife, Tiffany Latz, who is also a nurse at Wyckoff, was notified that the dog was roaming around the hospital parking lot after being dropped off by the crooks.

“A worker at the hospital said, ‘Tiffany there is a dog in the parking lot,’” O’Sullivan told The Post. ““She said, ‘What? Let me get the dog.’ She goes into the parking lot. The dog is in the ice and she brings the dog into the hospital. She called me and said, ‘Come get the dog.’ and that’s what I did.

“She saw the Post story and was like, ‘Oh my God. That’s the dog!’” O’Sullivan said. “That’s how the ball got rolling.”

The 62-year-old mother of three was an easy choice to be Coco’s savior — she is a proud animal lover who owns five pets, including a paralyzed French bulldog.

She said the rescued canine wouldn’t eat kibble when she got him home, so she served her tuna and oatmeal until she could be reunited with her owners.

“This is a great story because most s–t I see is f—king bad s—t,” O’Sullivan said.

The four home invaders were still on the loose late Tuesday.
